Two of the three Esmark Stars AAA Hockey Clubs three midget teams (16U and 15U) return to action this weekend, Feb. 23 - 24.

The 16U Stars will face the Pittsburgh Predators in a home and home series this weekend. On Saturday, Feb. 23, the two clubs will hook up at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena, opening face-off set for 1:00 p.m. This is the final home game of the season for the U16 squad. On Sunday, Feb. 24, the two clubs close the series with a 10:00 a.m. face-off at the Ice Castle Arena in Castle Shannon, PA.

The U16 AAA Stars enter the weekend sporting a 27-17-2-2 overall record. This will be the first meeting between  the clubs this season.

Meanwhile, the U15 Stars will play host to the Predators U15 club on Saturday at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena at 9:30 a.m.

The two clubs met in mid-September, with the Predators grabbing both games (5-3 and 3-0).

The U15 AAA Stars enter the weekend with a 23-15-3-5 overall record.

All three games are free and open to the public. Stars fans are encouraged to come out and root for the Stars!
