This past weekend, Feb. 2 & 3, saw all three Esmark Stars AAA Hockey Club midget teams in action.

The U15 Stars squared off with the Cleveland Wildcats in a home and home series. On Saturday, the Stars skated to a 1-0 defensive struggle win over the Wildcats at the Brooklyn Recreation Center in Cleveland, OH.  On Sunday the two clubs completed the weekend series in Pittsburgh, at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena, where the Stars skated to a 12-0 shutout win. The weekend sweep of the Wildcats improves the U15 AAA team overall record to  23-14-3-3.

The U16 Stars welcomed Delaware Prep to the Pittsburgh Ice Arena on Saturday and skated to a 9-0 shutout win behind a hat-trick from Eddie Pazo. The U16 AAA clubs overall record improves to 24-16-2-2.

The U18 Stars opened a weekend tilt with Mid-Am rival Gilmour Academy Lancers at Gilmour Academy on Saturday where they skated to a 6-2 win. On Sunday, the action shifted to Pittsburgh, and the Pittsburgh Ice Arena, where the U18 Stars skated to a 8-2 win. The weekend sweep of Gilmour improved the Stars overall record to 35-10-1-1.
