The Esmark Stars Midget teams (U18, U16 and U15) will return to action this weekend (Nov. 30 - Dec. 2) at the ECEL Holiday Classic in Northford, CT. 

The U15 Stars open with a clash against the Boston Advantage on Friday, Nov. 30, with a 5:00 p.m. opening face-off.  They return to action twice on Saturday. First up is an 8:10 a.m. game against the West Coast Renegades.  Then later in the evening, 7:00 p.m., the U15 Stars face Elite Hockey Academy.  The Stars close the showcase with a Sunday tilt against the New Jersey Titans, 1:20 p.m. The U15 Stars enter the showcase with an overall record of 13-9-2-1.

The U16 Stars also open the event against the Boston Advantage on Friday, Nov. 30, with a 3:10 p.m. opening face-off.  They return to action twice on Saturday. First up is an early-morning game, 8:00 a.m. against the New Jersey Jr. Titans.  Then later in the afternoon, 3:30 p.m., the U16 Stars face Hill Academy.  The Stars close the showcase with a Sunday game against Elite Hockey Academy, 8:00 a.m. The U16 Stars enter the showcase with an overall record of 13-11-2-1.

The U18 Stars open with a game against the Hill Academy on Friday, Nov. 30, 7:00 p.m. opening face-off.  They return to action twice on Saturday. First up is an 1:30 p.m. game against the New Hampshire Avalanche.  Then later in the evening, 7:10 p.m., the U18 Stars face the New Jersey Jr. Titans.  The Stars close the showcase with a Sunday morning showdown with the Boston Advantage, 8:10 a.m. The U18 Stars enter the showcase with an overall record of 21-7-1-1.

"The ECEL Holiday Classic provides a great opportunity for scouts in the New England Region to see our Midget teams in action," said program general manager Dave Kosick.
