STARS IN BLAINE FOR NAPHL IV

MIDGETS (18U, 16U & 15U) RETURN TO LEAGUE PLAY

The Esmark Stars AAA Hockey midget teams (18U, 16U and 15U) travel to Blaine, MN, for the fourth NAPHL league showcase of the season, Dec. 1-4, 2017.

The U15 Stars will be competing in the NAPHL U15 Playoffs during this visit to Blaine. The sixth seeded Stars open the league playoffs with the Washington Little Capitals and the Nashville Jr. Predators on Friday and then face the Rocky Mountain Rough Riders on Saturday in bracket action. The four bracket winners will advance to the semi-finals and the winners onto the NAPHL U15 Championship game to compete for the NAPHL's Dixon Cup.

Meanwhile the U16 & U18 Stars will be competing in the fourth of five league showcases.

The U16 Stars, who enter action with a NAPHL record of (7-2-0-0) and an overall record of (19-12-2-0), will face the Sioux Falls Stampede, Madison Capitals, Arizona Bobcats and Shattuck St. Mary's.

The U18 Stars, who enter action with a NAPHL record of (5-2-0-3) and an overall record of (17-10-0-5), will face the Thunder Bay Kings, Madison Capitals, Tampa Scorpions and Elite Hockey AAA.

One regular season event remains on the NAPHL schedule, NAPHL V, Jan. 27 - 29, 2018, in Blaine, MN, as well as the NAPHL Playoffs, and the chase for the Dixon Cup, Feb. 17 - 20, 2018, in Troy, MI.
