Pittsburgh, PA - The Esmark Stars AAA Hockey Program will be back in action this Veterans Day Weekend, Nov. 11 - 13.

The U16 and U18 Midget Stars will be in Omaha, NE, for the first of two Verbero Midwest Showcases. All Showcase games will be held at the Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Ralston, NE, home of the USHL's Omaha Lancers.

The U18 Esmark squad (21-3-1-1) open play on Friday, Nov 10, at 12:45 p.m., against Minnesota powerhouse Northstar Christian Academy Knights (17-2-0-0),  ranked #5 in the MyHockeyRankings.com overall 18U rankings. On Saturday, Nov 11, the Midget Major Stars hook-up with the host club Omaha Mastery 18U AAA (17-9-0-2), ranked #44 in the MyHockeyRankings.com National-Bound 18U rankings, at 10:30 a.m. Esmark's U18 squad close the showcase on Sunday, Nov 13, at 10:30 a.m., against the Chicago Reapers (20-3-1-5), ranked #14 in the MyHockeyRankings.com National-Bound 18U rankings.

The U16 Stars (20-5-1-2) open play on Friday, Nov 10, at 12:45 p.m., against the Chicago Reapers (9-12-0-6),  ranked #36 in the National-Bound 16U rankings. On Saturday, Nov 11, the Midget Minor Stars hook-up with the Rocky Mountain RoughRiders U166 AAA (13-5-1-1) at 10:30 a.m., ranked #31 in the MyHockeyRankings.com National-Bound 16U rankings. Esmark's U16 squad close the showcase on Sunday, Nov 13, at 10:30 a.m., against Minnesota powerhouse Northstar Christian Academy Knights (14-3-2-0), ranked #19 in the MyHockeyRankings.com National-Bound 16U rankings.

Four Stars teams are set for exciting home action this weekend.

The U11 Esmark Stars will host the U11 Pittsburgh Penguins Elite on Friday, Nov 11, 7:00 p.m., at the Palmer Imaging Center in Delmont.

The U12 Stars will host the Pittsburgh Predators U12 squad at 9:30 a.m., on Saturday, Nov 12 at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena in New Kensington.

The U13 Bantam Minor squad will host the Amherst Knights U13 squad in a pair of games on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena. Opening face-offs are set for 1:10 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

And the U14 Bantam Major Stars will host play host to a three-game set at Pittsburgh Ice Arena. On Saturday, Nov 12, the Stars open the home-stand with a 12:00 p.m. game against the Cheektowaga (NY) Warriors.  Then at 6:00 p.m., the Stars and the Utica (NY) Jr Comets will square-off. On Sunday, Nov 13, Esmark's 14U squad will close the weekend home-stand with a 8:00 a.m. game against Cheektowaga.

The U15 AAA Stars will enjoy an off weekend.
