Troy, MI - The Esmark Stars 2010 AAA squad capped off an impressive run in Troy, MI, as they skated to the Championship of the 2022 CCM Youth Elite World Invite Tournament Detroit.

The Pee Wee Major Stars squad completed round-robin play with a 2-0-1 record and the top seed in their bracket.

The Stars opened play on Friday with a 2-2 tie against the Cleveland Barons.  Later on Friday the Stars grabbed a 5-2 win over the Arizona Jr Sun Devils.

On Saturday, the Stars secured the top seed with a 2-1 win over the Highland Park Falcons on Saturday morning.

Later Saturday afternoon, the Stars skated to a 5-2 win over the Buffalo Regals SCTA team in quarter-finals action. Then on Sunday morning, the Stars skated to a 3-1 win over the Connecticut Jr Rangers in semi-final play to earn a spot in the tournament championship game.

The Stars closed out the event with a 4-2 win over the Ohio AAA Blue Jackets on Sunday afternoon to claim the tournament championship.
