Pittsburgh, PA - The Esmark Stars AAA Hockey Program will celebrate the Labor Day weekend this upcoming weekend, Sept. 3 – 4, as the Midget Major U18 Stars and the Midget Minor U16 Stars open their 2022-23 home schedule at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena.

The U18 Stars will welcome the Philadelphia Flyers Elite to Pittsburgh for a pair of Tier 1 Hockey Federation (T1HF) league games. On Saturday, Sept. 3, the two midget major squads will face-off at 6:00 p.m. Then on Sunday, Sept. 4, they close the two-game set with a 11:00 a.m. opening face-off.

Yuri Krivokhija’s U16 Midget Minor Esmark Stars AAA squad will welcome the Washington Little Capitals into Pittsburgh for a pair of weekend games. On Saturday, Sept. 3, the two midget minor squads will meet at 4:00 p.m. Then on Sunday, Sept. 4, they close the two-game set with a 9:00 a.m. opening face-off.

Admission to the games is free and fans of the Stars are invited to kick-off the Labor Day Celebration with some exciting Tier I AAA Hockey action.

The Stars U15, U14, U13, U12 and U11 teams will all enjoy the holiday weekend off.
