AAA Hockey Action to Wrap Up 2021 portion of '21-'22 Schedule

The Esmark Stars AAA Hockey program will conclude the 2021 portion of their '21-'22 season this upcoming weekend, Dec.17-20, as they wrap-up their December schedule prior to the upcoming Holiday Season.

The Esmark 14 squad (15-12-6-0) will be in Blaine, MN, for a NAPHL League Showcase, Dec. 17-19, playing four NAPHL league games at the Super Rink at the National Sports Center. On Friday, Dec. 17, the Stars open the event with a 9:30 a.m. face-off against the New Jersey Jr Titans (12-11-3-0). Then on Saturday morning, Dec. 18, the Stars return to action with a 7:00 a.m. game against CarShield AAA (MO) (26-12-2-3). Later Saturday afternoon, 3:30 p.m., the Stars will square-off with the Arizona Bobcats (17-5-1-1). Esmark's Bantam Major team will conclude the four-game road trip on Sunday morning, 7:30 a.m., with a game against the Colorado Tigers (0-13-0-3).

The Esmark U16 squad (23-7-1-2) will also be in Blaine, MN, for a NAPHL League Showcase, Dec. 18-20, playing four NAPHL league games at the Super Rink at the National Sports Center. On Saturday, Dec. 18, the Stars open the event with a 9:00 a.m. face-off against the Maine Nordiques (18-18-2-0). Later Saturday evening, the Stars return to action with a game against the Madison (WI) Capitols (4-16-0-3), 5:00 p.m. On Sunday, Dec. 19, the Stars will square-off with the Ontario (CA) Jr Reign (18-7-0-2) at 11:00 a.m. Esmark's Midget Minor team will conclude the four-game road trip on Monday morning, 7:00 a.m., with a game against the CarShield AAA (MO) (23-13-0-4).

Likewise the Esmark U18 squad (22-4-2-2) will be in Blaine, MN, for a NAPHL League Showcase, Dec. 18-20, for four NAPHL league games at the Super Rink at the National Sports Center. On Saturday, Dec. 18, the Stars open the event with a 9:30 a.m. face-off against the Ontario (CA) Jr Reign (11-14-0-1). Later Saturday evening, the Stars return to action with a game against Team Alaska (5-14-0-3), 7:00 p.m. On Sunday, Dec. 19, the Stars will square-off with the undefeated Northwest (WA) Stars (20-0-0-0) at 1:00 p.m. Esmark's Midget Major team will conclude the four-game road trip on Monday morning, 9:00 a.m., with a game against the Philadelphia Little Flyers (26-6-2-0).

The U13 Bantam Minor Stars (17-18-2-0) will be back on home ice at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena as they welcome the Rochester Americans (16-13-3-0)  to Pittsburgh for a pair of weekend games. Game times are set for 6:40 p.m. on Saturday and 10:10 a.m. on Sunday.

Likewise, the U12 Stars (9-24-5-0) will return to the friendly confines of Pittsburgh Ice Arena for a pair of home games with the Indy Jr Fuel (14-17-3-2) on Saturday, Dec. 18.  The game times are set for 10:30 a.m. and 4:50 p.m.

Meanwhile, the U11 Stars (17-19-2-0) will head east to New Jersey for a three-game road trip this weekend. They open play at 2:15 p.m. at the Ice Vault in Wayne, NJ, against the Jersey Hitmen (15-16-4-0).  Then at 6:00 p.m. they return to the ice at the Woodbridge Community Center in Woodbridge, NJ, to face the Woodbridge Wolfpack (18-20-1-0).  The Pee Wee Minor Stars wrap-up the road trip on Sunday with a 9:30 a.m. face-off with the Wolfpack at the Woodbridge Community Center.
