The Esmark Stars AAA Hockey U11 & U12 teams will be in action this weekend, Oct. 8 - 10.

The U12 Pee Wee Major AAA Esmark Stars (5-6-1-0) will travel to Buffalo, NY, to participate in the Buffalo Jr Sabres Invitational at the Harborcreek Facility in downtown Buffalo. The 2009 Stars open play on Friday, 12:00 p.m., against the Jersey Shores Whalers (6-2-1-0).  Later Friday afternoon, the Stars will face the Long Island Gulls (7-3-2-1) at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday morning, 9:00 a.m., the Pee Wee Major Stars will face-off against the Amherst Knights (2-3-1-0) at 9:00 a.m. They close the round-robing portion of the event with a 3:00 p.m. face-off against the Buffalo Jr Sabres (11-3-1-0). Seeding and games for Sunday will be determined after round-robin play.

The U11 Pee Wee Minor AAA Esmark Stars (5-10-1-0) will host the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (2-2-2) for a pair of games on Saturday at Pittsburgh Ice Arena. The two squads kick-off the double-header at 1:50 p.m.  Game two will face-off at 6:50 p.m.

The Stars U13, U14, U16 and U18 squads are all enjoying a weekend off.
