Today, Sept. 11, 2021, we bow our heads and stand in silent remembrance for those whose lives were tragically lost 20 years ago on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001.

We remember watching helplessly as 19 terrorists carried out a devastating attack on the United States, flying hijacked planes into the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and a field in Shanksville, PA, after they battled a group of courageous passengers over the skies of western Pennsylvania.

So today we join our nation in remembrance ... as we promised as a people to never forget this solemn date ... Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001!
