Pittsburgh, PA - The Esmark Stars AAA Hockey Club 2021-2022 season tryouts for "non-Nationals Bound" teams have begun.

Next to take to the ice will be the U13 Bantam Minor (2008) age classification.  Tryouts for the Esmark Stars 2008 AAA Bantam Minor team begin on Sunday, April 17, 2021, at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena in New Kensington, PA.

Tryouts for the U12 Pee Wee Major (2009) and U11 Pee Wee Minor (2010) age levels have been concluded and player selections made.

The first round of Esmark Stars AAA Hockey tryouts for "USA Hockey Nationals Bound" teams, will begin on May 10, 2021, and will include: U14 Bantam Major (2007), Midget 15U "Only" (2006), and Midget 16U (2005) age classifications.

Finally, the Esmark Stars Midget Major18U AAA team will begin tryouts on May 13, 2021.

The Esmark Stars AAA Hockey program, the oldest Tier I AAA program in the Mid-American District (founded in 1984 and continuously providing opportunities for elite amateur hockey players for over 36 years), offers participants:

* Nationally recognized program;
* Nationally recognized elite-level coaching staff;
* One team at each birth-year level;
* 2 - 3 practices per week;
* Comprehensive off-ice testing and instruction, including use of a full service gym at the rink
* Members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) - Midget - 18U, 16U and 15U; Bantam - 14U
* Participate in high-end national tournaments, selected to best showcase elite athletes;
* Great schedule (mix of league, tournament and home and home series) with elite AAA opponents from across the US and Canada
* A full service billet program for Out-of-State and International players;
* Affiliation with the Johnstown Tomahawks of the NAHL;
* Past players have gone on to play hockey at every level, including (NHL, OHL, AHL, IHL, USHL, NAHL, NCAA Div. I & III, ACHA, Div. I & III).

All tryouts will be conducted at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena in New Kensington, PA.

April 18, 2021 – 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

April 19, 2021 – 6:30 p.m. – 7:50 p.m.

April 20, 2021 – 6:30 p.m. – 7:50 p.m.

(Additional tryouts may be added, if necessary, to accommodate quantity of registered players.)
