NAPHL announces Apex Learning Peak Performers for January 2021

Vogt, Yakovich and Amaranto Recognized

The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) has announced its Apex Learning Virtual School Peak Performers for the month of January.

The players were selected based upon their performance during all NAPHL games played in January, including the NAPHL Central Division pod event in Indianapolis, IN, as well as head-to-head games at team sites.

Esmark U16's Sebastian Vogt was selected 16U Apex Peak Performer (Defenseman) for January.   Vogt, 16, (5’8/140 lbs.) helped Esmark to a 2-2-0-0 record at the event in Indianapolis with four points in four games played, including three assists in an 8-3 win over the Jr. Fuel.  In 20 NAPHL games played this season, the native of Bradenton, FL, has 10 points.

Esmark U15's Aiden Yakovich was selected 15U Apex Peak Performer (Defenseman) for January.  Yakovich, 15, (5’7/145 lbs.) had his best weekend of the season in Indianapolis, putting up three points in four games played. The native of Moon, PA, had a point in three of the four games played.

Esmark U15's Ian Amaranto was selected 15U Apex Peak Performer (Goaltender) for January.  Amaranto, 16, picked up a pair of wins in goal at the event in Indianapolis. The 5’11/155 lbs. native of Johnstown, PA, stopped 15 of 16 shots in a 3-1 win over Meijer and had a 13-save shutout in a 1-0 win over the Tri State Spartans.
