The Stars 18U, 16U and 15U Midget teams will all travel to the State of Indiana to participate in Showcase tournaments this weekend, Jan. 8-10,

The U15 Stars (13-15-0-1) will travel to Sound Bend for the CCM Notre Dame Shootout this weekend. They open play on Friday against Team Alaska (9-4-3-3) at 1:20 p.m.  Friday evening the Stars return to the ice to face the Rocky Mountain (CO) Roughriders (12-15-2-3) at 7:50 p.m.  Saturday morning, 10:40 a.m., the Stars will square-off with the San Diego Saints (6-9-2-0).  Saturday night the Stars will face the Colorado Thunderbirds (17-16-1-7) at 9:40 p.m.  The Stars U15 team close the Showcase with an 11:00 a.m. face-off against Belle Tire (13-10-1-0) on Sunday.  All games will be played at the Ice Box Arena in South Bend.

Meanwhile, the U16 Stars (18-10-1-0) will be in Fort Wayne, IN,  for the SuperSeries AAA - Fort Wayne Showcase.  First up for the U16s is the Carolina  (NC) Jr. Hurricanes (7-8-1-1), on Friday, 12:10 p.m.  On Saturday, the Midget Minor Stars face-off with Compuware (MI), (17-12-1-0), at 10:00 a.m.  Later Saturday afternoon, 4:00 p.m., the Stars will play against Little Caesars (MI) (12-10-4-3), at 4:00 p.m.  On Sunday, the U16 Stars close the SuperSeries Showcase with a 7:30 a.m. face-off against Culver Academy IN) (5-1-0-1).  All games will be played at the Sport One Rink in Fort Wayne.

The U18 Stars (18-10-1-0) will also be in Fort Wayne, IN,  for the SuperSeries AAA - Fort Wayne Showcase. First up for the U18s is Northwood Prep (NY), (0-0-0-0), on Friday, 2:00 p.m.  On Saturday, the Midget Major Stars face-off with the nation's number 3 ranked Midget Tier I team (www.myhockeyrankings.com) Culver Academy (IN), (10-1-1-0), at 2:00 p.m.  Later Saturday evening, 8:00 p.m., the Stars will play against Gilmour Academy (OH)  (8-17-1-1).  On Sunday, the U18 Stars close the SuperSeries Showcase with a 1:00 p.m. face-off against the Chicago Young Americans (IL), (14-13-1-1).  All games will be played at the Sport One Rink in Fort Wayne.

The U12 AAA Stars are idle this weekend.
