Stars U16 Ultanbekov Recognized by NAPHL

Named to '19-'20 All-NAPHL 16U Team - High Performance Division - Second Team

The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) has announced that Esmark Stars forward Adis Ultanbekov has been named to the 2019-2020 All-NAPHL 16U Team - High Performance Division - Second Team.

In 16 regular season 2019-20 NAPHL games, Ultanbekov, who is from Magnitogorsk, Russia, recorded 25 points (18 goals, 7 assists), including 2 power-play goals and 2 shorthanded goals.

In four 2019-20 NAPHL Dixon Cup Playoff appearances, Ultanbekov (6', 180 lbs.) recorded four points (2 goals, 2 assists).  He also scored a goal and an assist in the 2019-20 NAPHL U16 All-Star game for Team Warroad.

Consideration and selection to the All-NAPHL 16U Team - High Performance Division Team was based on player performance in all NAPHL games throughout the 2019-20 season.

"Adis is clearly a very gifted player," said Stars U16 head coach Yuri Krivokhija. "He played all season like a man among boys ... and was successful in getting the puck to the back of the net."
