The Esmark Stars AAA Hockey midget teams will head west to Detroit this weekend, Jan. 10-12, as they travel to the Motor City to participate in the 2020 Motor City Winter Invitational, sponsored by Honeybaked Hockey.

The U15 Stars (16-16-2-1) will open play on Friday, 4:10 p.m., against the U15 Middlesex Islanders Hockey Club. On Saturday, the U15s play the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs U16 squad at 7:15 a.m. Then face the Middlesex Islanders U16 American hockey team at 5:05 p.m. They conclude the showcase on Sunday with a 7:25 a.m. opening face-off against the U15 Northern Cyclones.

The U16 Stars (27-15-0-1) will open play on Friday, 6:10 p.m., against the Boston Junior Bruins. On Saturday, the U16s play the Northern Cyclones at 7:25 a.m. They then face the Middlesex Islanders U16 National hockey team at 5:05 p.m. They conclude the showcase on Sunday with a 9:25 a.m. opening face-off against the Jersey Hitmen.

The U18 Stars (33-3-4-3) will open play on Friday, 2:10 p.m., against the Northern Cyclones. Then on Friday evening, 8:10 p.m., they will square-off with the Boston Junior Bruins. On Saturday, the midget major Stars face CP Dynamo at 1:15 p.m. Then later Saturday evening, 9:15 p.m., they will play the Middlesex Islanders National team. They conclude their five-game showcase on Sunday with a 12:10 p.m. game against the Skipjacks AAA.

All games will be played at the Fraser Hockeyland in Fraser, MI.
