The U18 and U16 Esmark Stars AAA squads will take their show north up I-79 and I-90 to Buffalo, NY, this upcoming weekend, Nov. 1 - 3, 2019, to participate in the Buffalo Jr. Sabres Invitational Showcase.

The U16 AAA Stars (14-5-0-0) will open play on Friday, Nov. 1, morning (10:00 a.m.) against the Pittsburgh Predators. Then later Friday, the Stars and the Rochester Selects will face-off at 4:45 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 2, the 16U Stars and the 16U Valley Forge Minutemen will reacquaint themselves.  Esmark's midget minor club concludes the showcase with a pair of games on Sunday, Nov. 3.  First up will be the host Buffalo Jr. Sabres at 8:00 a.m.  Then an afternoon tilt, 1:45 p.m., against the Sylvania North Stars.

Meanwhile, the U18 AAA Stars (16-1-3-2) will open play on Friday, Nov. 1, (1:15 p.m.) against the host Buffalo Jr. Sabres. Later Friday evening, the Stars and Canadian powerhouse London Jr. Knights will face-off at 6:45 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 2, the 18U Stars have an early morning date, 7:45 a.m., with the 95 Giants Prep team. Then late Saturday evening, 8:15 p.m., the Midget Major Stars and the Amherst Knights meet again. Esmark's 18U squad wraps up the showcase on Sunday, Nov. 3, with an 11:30 opening face-off against the Pittsburgh Predators.

All games will be played at the state-of-the-art Harbor Center in Buffalo.  The facility is the home practice rink of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres.

The U15 Stars will enjoy a planned weekend off.
