Stars Looking to add two d-man and two forwards to roster

The Esmark Stars U15 AAA team is looking to add a couple of players (one or two forwards and defenseman) to their roster for the 2016-17 season.

Esmark's U15 Team is coached by Derik Gaworski, who served as assistant coach to the U15 team last season and who has served as the goaltender coach for the Stars for the past four years.  Prior to that, Gaworski was an assistant coach for Slippery Rock University's ACHA D1 team.  In his college career, he was the starting goalie for 4 years at RMU ACHA team.

What type of player is U15 looking for?  Someone who is a hard-working blue collar player willing to invest the blood, sweat and tears necessary to achieve his goals.

If you have the desire to play AAA hockey and want to be pushed to be the best you can be, the Star's coaching staff is well prepared to guide you in your development.

This season USA Hockey has established the U15 division as a national Tournament Division, so this team will have an opportunity to play and compete for the Mid-Am Championship and a spot in the USA Hockey Nationals.

Billeting opportunities are available for those who do not live in the Pittsburgh area.  The U15 Team has families that have offered to billet this season.

The U15 team is open to both 2001 and 2002 players. For the advanced 2002 player, this would be a great opportunity to begin play at the midget level and gain the national exposure that comes with playing up at the Tier I level.

If you know of a player, either locally or from out of state, that would be a fit, consider providing them with information about this team.
